The lovely Joanne, a city girl if there ever was one, milks a cow. A 4-H member who's supposed to be helping doesn't know whether to laugh or cry.



My idea of health food. It's a wonder there's anybody left alive in North Carolina.



Yes, Virginia, they really do have pig races at the State Fair.



The penalty for losing a pig race is pretty stiff.
